New DISILLUSIONIST single out now!

Dispatched from the cold and hazy Copenhagen, Danish post-hardcore trio DISILLUSIONIST unleashes 2nd single “Resented” from their upcoming EP “Love & Anxiety” released may 2021 via Over The Under Records. “Resented” brings the mind to bands such as Touche Amore and Knocked Loose with a mixture of heavy metalcore riffs and fast-paced screamo segments. The EP conceptually centers around a disdained protagonist who struggles to stay in an unhealthy relationship and the song “Resented” paints the thoughts of this discouraged mind: “decisions are delusions, delusions are defeat, defeat is a decision, I have accomplished in my sleep”. It’s easier to to give up than fight the struggles: “my mind is an impasse, resented till I die”. DISILLUSIONIST has teamed up with filmmaker Jakob Harris to deliver a cinematically beautiful performance video for this single.
