FREDLØS

Fredløs invites you into an uncompromisingly vulnerable and honest sonic landscape and seeks to create a space wherein the listener can process their sorrow and bliss in equal measure. Centering softness enveloped in a drapery of thundering blast beats and howling screams, Fredløs is a celebration of all we have lost and the hands that have borne us. 

Fredløs is a project of Amira Hernan (Konvent, ex. Solbrud) that blends a myriad of aesthetic and sonic elements. With songs that draw from the raw emotional outpouring of emo-crust, screamo and blackmetal counterpointed with soft spoken poetry, delicate string arrangements and rich soundscapes.

In her first effort as Fredløs Hernan deals with grief and transformation through a collection of heartfelt letters of farewell. 

Fredløs features musicians from several Scandinavian DIY scenes and stands in defiance of the hatred, neglect and individualism that pervades in our culture. Championing love as a radical practice and collective efforts of liberation.
