JOHN CXNNOR & THE DOOM SQUAD
When COPENHELL celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2019, it united the Danish heavy scene with the anthem “Omvendt Korstog”. Now, in 2026, as the festival returns to Refshaleøen for its 15th edition, that spirit is reborn in a new form.
The new festival track, “HellWalkers”, brings together John Cxnnor and The Doom Squad, featuring members of VOLA, Xenoblight, Lack and Heilung — a unique fusion of artists from across the Danish heavy scene.
Blending industrial beats, dark synths and raw vocals, “HellWalkers” is a brutal, hypnotic “Doom Rave” — a collision between machine and human energy. Inspired by dystopian worlds and cult ’80s aesthetics, the track stands as a dark, uncompromising soundtrack to a world on the edge.
