We are proud to once again open the gates to something fierce and haunting. Welcome: Embla.

"New" might be a misnomer. In a former life, Embla walked under another name: We Are Among Storms—a band once signed to OTU. Now, reborn and restructured, two new members have joined, the name has changed, and the sound has evolved into something different.

Embla is a five-piece post-hardcore entity from Copenhagen, Denmark. Originally formed in 2016, they released "The I In We" under their previous moniker in 2021. With bloodlines that run through acts such as The Psyke Project, Nordsind, Myrkur, Église, and Meejah, they’ve carved a name for themselves as one of the most raw and relentless forces in the Danish underground.

We are beyond proud to welcome Embla to our ranks.

This autumn, we will release their amazing new EP, "A WAY / AWAY", on limited edition vinyl.

A record that doesn’t just echo through your bones—it haunts them. "A WAY / AWAY" explores the violence of memory, the dissonance of trying to outrun a past that refuses to die. It is both a scream into the void and a whispered prayer for release. Trapped between what was and what might never be, Embla invites you to witness the collapse—and perhaps, the reckoning.
