We are extremely proud to announce that we have just expanded the OTU family with yet another incredible band. Welcome to NEW MONEY! Having been huge fans of the members of NEW MONEY in their previous bands, and with their debut record "Dinero Nuevo" ranking as one of the absolute best releases of 2024, we are beyond proud to now welcome these insane musicians into the fold. 

From the underbelly of Copenhagen emerges NEW MONEY — a band that doesn't merely play music, but wields it as a weapon. With a sound deeply rooted in chaotic hardcore and noise rock, they're making their mark by delivering powerful, unfiltered music that refuses to be boxed in. The trio behind NEW MONEY - Christian Bonnesen, Niclas Sauffaus, and Simon Tornby - have cut their teeth in revered bands like LLNN, FOSSILS, Elitist, Piss Vortex, and Psyke Project. Their combined crucible of experience has moulded NEW MONEY into a menacing new force. With their debut record, “DINERO NUEVO”, NEW MONEY prepares to step onto the international stage. Recorded live at Dead Rat Studio under the watchful guidance of Jacob Bredahl, this record is a blistering introduction to the band's capabilities.

NEW MONEY's lyrical content takes a dive into the stark realities of capitalism and the disheartening outlook of an increasingly westernised world. Their songs, reflecting the disillusionment of our society's trajectory, are laced with dark humour and a wry twist on the tragicomic state of affairs marked by a profound apathy for the sparse instances of well-informed decisions. Even in the face of limited individual capacity to effect real change, NEW MONEY manages to highlight the absurdity of it all, offering a bleak yet oddly amusing commentary on our world.
