Welcome back, TERRORPY!

Welcome back, TERRORPY!

Denmark has long been a breeding ground for innovative and groundbreaking music, and the latest sensation Terrorpy, is no exception. With their brutal yet technically refined death metal, Terrorpy has quickly made waves on both the Danish and international metal scenes.
Formed by three seasoned musicians deeply rooted in the underground, Terrorpy was born out of a shared vision to create music that pushes the boundaries of the genre while challenging the listener’s senses. Their sound is an intense blend of rapid-fire riffs, complex rhythms, and vocals that deliver dark, introspective lyrics with unrelenting power.
Soon Terrorpy is ready to present their sophomore album bearing the title "The Bisection Collection". The band has sought a development of their sound whilke exploring new sides to their disgusting and macabre lyrical mindscapes. While their first album "Stuffing Puke Into The Sockets” was decidedly marked by explorations of violent powerlessness, "The Bisection Collection" leans into themes of the complete disintegration of the self through the cessation of the physical body and the dissolvement of the very illusion of humanity, through which our species tells itself a daily, existential lie. This, of course, does not mean that you will be missing out on their good old and vivid imagery of foul deeds, ranging from the intake of infected fluids to insectoid surgery, leaving very little left of any semblance of the deceased individual.
Terrorpy’s sound has seen a change, and this album has a stronger focus on creating a more brutal, analog and open sound. The album has been recorded in collaboration with Ebbe Grøn, who has been at the helm of reamping, mixing and mastering like he did on the band’s first album. The goal is a more direct and hard hitting soundscape that best represents Terrorpy’s new experimental endeavors into the noble discipline of death metal. Repulsive tunes with hammering blast beats, furious guitars and growling bass, as well as the dejected vocals that you hate to love.
"The Bisection Collection” will be out via Over The Under Records, November 23rd on limited vinyl and all streaming platforms.
