We're proud to present this Danish hardcore gem on vinyl for the first time. CZAR is a hardcore band from Copenhagen, featuring members from The Psyke Projekt, Horned Almighty, Clients, Helhorse, Exmortem, and Koldborn. Danish-spoken/screaming hardcore that blends chaotic hardcore and punk influences—no fucks given. The band existed from 2014 to 2017.

CZAR sounds like many things, but most of all, CZAR sounds like CZAR. They cultivate an experience of dystopia and raw violence, creating a chaotic mix for everyone to dive into. Lyrics focus on despair, fear of death, and the parasitic nature of humans—seen as a species bent on destruction and self-destruction. It offers no solutions, just a slim hope that by diving into the mess with open eyes, you might swim through it, even if you get dirt in your eyes. Their music balances between the gloomy and introverted and the extroverted and energetic, creating a tension between creative and destructive forces.
