New signing: ROT AWAY!

We’re incredibly proud to announce that we’ve added another fantastic band to the OTU family. We’ve just signed one of Denmark’s most uncompromising hardcore bands, with their upcoming album True Sorrow set to be released through Over the Under Records.

Since their formation, ROT AWAY have established themselves as one of the heaviest names on the Danish and Nordic hardcore scene - fast, heavy and completely uncompromising. With a relentless approach to both their music and live performances, the band have built serious momentum and firmly established themselves as a band to watch.

Following the release of "Nothing is Good" (2021) and "Heavy Weight" (2023), ROT AWAY have continued to push their sound and live presence even further. They’ve played countless shows and shared stages with some of the biggest names in heavy music, including Cabal, END, Parkway Drive, Neckbreakker and many more.

Now, the next chapter begins.

With "True Sorrow", ROT AWAY deliver their third full-length album - nine hard-hitting tracks packed with crushing beats, riffs for days and fierce, piercing vocal performances. It’s an album that captures the raw energy, intensity and uncompromising spirit that have become synonymous with the band.

For us at Over the Under Records, ROT AWAY feel like a perfect fit. We share the same passion for heavy, uncompromising music and for bands who aren’t afraid to do things their own way. We couldn’t be more excited to be part of the next chapter and to bring "True Sorrow" into the world.

"True Sorrow" will be released on February 5th 2027 via Over the Under Records. First single "Seethrough" will drop September 11th.
