ANTE AURORAM was mixed and mastered by longtime collaborator Stefano Morabito (Fleshgod Apocalypse) who previously mixed LAMENTARI’s Clavis Aurea and Nihilitatis. With ANTE AURORAM, the collaboration enters its third act. Choral passages were recorded with a live choir in London, conducted under the leadership of Aaron King, capturing the solemnity of a true choral mass.
ANTE AURORAM is LAMENTARI at their most ambitious. A requiem for what has been lost, and a composition for what comes after. Before dawn, there is darkness, but dawn is coming.
The Black Edition presents the album on classic 12-inch, 180-gram black vinyl. It comes in a premium jacket with glossy lamination and a black inner finish, along with a full-colour printed insert.
