NEW SIGNING: Violence!

We’re incredibly proud to welcome VIOLENCE to the OTU family.

This signing marks another step in expanding the musical scope of our label. Formed from the ashes of Copenhagen hardcore outfit Woes, Violence have evolved into a dark and atmospheric take on post-punk, blending melancholic moods, goth and synth-driven electronics.

With deep roots in the European underground and more than 100 shows across Europe, the band have steadily pushed their sound beyond their punk origins. They have just hit the road across Europe supporting HEXIS, as they continue to build their reputation as one of Copenhagen’s most compelling underground acts.

Their forthcoming EP, "Nostalgia is Depression", takes another step into electronic territory while exploring the darker edges of post-punk and goth. We’ll be releasing the EP on limited edition vinyl in November 2026. The brand new single "111 ANGEL NUMBERS" is out now. It's their new energetic synth-pop/post-punk track, featuring St. Digue. A song about sins, temptation, and the fleeting euphoria of finding mercy in the wrong places.

A few words from Violence:
We’re super excited to be a different addition to the over the under family, and to celebrate the danish underground scene with artists like St. Dique, Rot Away, Terrorpy, Demersal, New Money, Vidnet, JOHN CXNNOR, and many more. Thank you so much for having us. 🥀

Welcome to OTU, Violence
